When your business needs IT support regularly, paying separately for each repair can make it difficult to plan your spending. A flat-rate IT package gives you an agreed monthly fee for a defined set of services. You may also see this called flat-fee IT support or fixed-fee managed IT.

At Unified Technology Solutions (UTS), we build managed service plans around your devices, locations, and support needs. For your business in Vero Beach, Sebastian, or Fort Pierce, the advantages go beyond knowing the monthly fee. The right package gives you ongoing management and a clear way to get help.

More predictable costs for covered IT services

A monthly package lets you budget for the services covered by your agreement. If your plan includes routine support, the number of covered helpdesk requests does not turn into a separate hourly invoice each month. That makes it easier to plan your operating expenses and reserve money for equipment replacement or other technology needs.

Your total technology budget still includes costs outside the package. Hardware, software licensing, backup services, after-hours work, and services outside the agreement may be billed separately. Adding computers, servers, or locations can also change your monthly fee. Predictability comes from understanding the scope and how changes are priced. Before signing, review flat-rate IT limits and contract exclusions against the work your business expects to need.

Your staff can ask for help sooner

When routine support is included, your employees can report a problem without weighing the cost of another hourly service call. A recurring printing issue or a computer that keeps slowing down is easier to address when someone tells the helpdesk about it.

Putting off those requests can leave your staff working around the same problem for weeks. Included support removes one reason to delay. Your team still needs to use the agreed support channels and provide enough information for the technician to investigate.

Maintenance and security become ongoing work

A managed IT package gives your provider an ongoing role in monitoring and maintaining your systems. Instead of starting a new engagement each time you need an update or a device check, those responsibilities are established in the service agreement.

UTS’s managed-service foundation includes device monitoring, managed endpoint security, patch management, web filtering, and security configuration for supported Microsoft 365 environments, subject to your licensing. These services help us identify issues and maintain protections throughout the relationship. The work continues even during months when you open few support tickets.

You have a team that knows your setup

With an ongoing provider, your network documentation, device history, and previous support work give technicians context for the next request. You spend less time explaining your setup from scratch, and the provider can look for patterns across recurring problems.

UnifiedTechs combines that familiarity with ongoing support and technology planning. As your needs change, we can discuss equipment replacements, access changes, and upgrades in the context of the systems your business already uses.

You can choose the level of support you need

Flat-rate IT packages can cover different amounts of work. At UTS, IT Essentials provides ongoing management and security services, with support labor billed as needed. Remote IT Support includes normal remote technical and helpdesk support, while onsite work is billed at a discounted labor rate. Complete IT Support includes normal business-hours remote, helpdesk, and onsite support within the managed scope.

Many routine changes and projects may be included under Remote or Complete IT Support when they fall within the agreement. A task does not become separately billable just because it is called a project. Your chosen plan and the actual work determine coverage.

The best fit depends on how your staff work, how often you need assistance, and how much you want your provider to manage. Our managed IT service packages give you a starting point for that discussion.
